Are you a Big Canoe woman who likes to laugh, chat and toast new friends? If so, you’re a genuine candidate for Awesome Women on the Lake (AWOL).
This is a gaggle of giggling Big Canoe ladies who meet at the Big Canoe Marina one Monday evening a month, usually the first Monday, to do nothing but enjoy each other. All you have to do is show up at 5 pm with a smile on your face and maybe carting your beverage of choice. You can do that, right?
The next gathering will be at the Marina at 5 pm on Monday, April 12. There are plenty of tables and chairs so social distancing is easy. Following POA protocol, masks are required.
If the weather looks bleak, AWOL will meet at the Beach Club (formerly Swim Club).
This is one of the easiest ways for Big Canoe women to connect with each other, share laughs, plot adventures and explore ideas. Karen Steinberg organized the group a couple years ago and friendships found their place, that was Karen’s mission and goal.
