Veranda to reopen for outdoor cookout on Labor Day

Clubhouse full menu available on to-go basis till then

Duffers closed today, to reopen Saturday

Clubhouse, Black Bear Pub and Veranda food and beverage services will be limited to Clubhouse menu take-out orders through Sunday because of a severe staffing shortage. Duffers closed early today but will reopen on Saturday according to its normal 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. schedule.

The Clubhouse is continuing to offer its entire menu to-go and via curbside dining through Sunday. All orders can be made by calling (706) 268-1253 or via the online order form that appears on bigcanoepoa.org when Property Owners log in.

Friday and Saturday, orders can be placed as early as 10:30 a.m. with the first pickup at 11:30 a.m. and place an order as late as 6 p.m. with the last pickup at 7 p.m.

On Sunday, diners can order as early as 10:30 a.m. for pickup at 11:30 a.m. and as late as 2 p.m. for the last pickup at 3 p.m.

All reservations through Sunday, Sept 5, have been canceled.

 

Labor Day News

The Veranda at the Clubhouse will reopen 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 6, for an outdoor cookout with grilled sausage, chicken and burgers with baked beans, potato salad and coleslaw.

Lunch is $15 per person and seating is on a first-come-first-served basis. In the beverage department, an IPA is $5, Blue Moon is $4, and the Montauk Mule (Tito’s vodka, simple syrup, fresh mint leaves, lime juice and prosecco) is $6.

The Clubhouse will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 7.
