FULL BOCCE SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
League Play Dates — Fall Bocce League Play Began Aug. 25
End of Regular Season; Makeup Week begins – Saturday, Oct. 9
All scores must be posted by 8 p.m. – Tuesday, Oct. 12
Playoffs – morning Saturday, Oct. 16 (hours to be determined)
Playoffs Rain Date – 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17
Awards Dinner (location to be determined) 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23
Laugh and Roll – 6 to 8 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month starting Sept. 9. Bocce members will retrieve the balls and mix and match play as they desire. There will not be Racquet Club staff present for this “open play”.
Upcoming dates: Sept. 9, 23, Oct. 14 28, Nov. 11 (No roll on Nov. 25 as it is Thanksgiving), Dec. 9, and 23
(There is no fee for bocce members and a $10 per person fee for non-members. Non-members must notify the Racquet Club at 706-268-3367 to sign up.)
Glow in the Dark Bocce – 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.Saturday, Sept. 11 – (There is no fee for this event)
Monday Night Bocce – Social rolling from 5 to 7 p.m. BYOB and a snack to share. (There is no fee for members for this event and a $10 fee for non-members.)
Dates for Monday Night Bocce: Sept. 20 and 27, Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25, Nov. 1, 8, 22, 29
Jammie Roll and Potluck– Monday – November 15 – 5 to 7 p.m. – Wear you best Jammies and come out for some fun. This is a potluck, so bring a dish to share and the beverage of your choice. There is a $5.00 per person fee for members and a $10.00 per person fee for non-members. You must register for this event by going to bigcanoepoa.org, community calendar, and click on November 15th Jammie Roll event or call the Racquet Club at 706-268-3367. There is a limit of 45 participants.
