Our Egg-citing Easter Celebration

Big Canoe springs forward with an Egg-citing Easter celebration

Easter is nearly upon us at Big Canoe – and with it, a plethora of terrible egg puns.

There also happens to be some hopping community events to look forward to for adults and children alike.

Egg-cellent Egg Hunt: Easter starts a day early in Big Canoe! The festivities kick off with an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at Playfield Park. Be on the lookout for our bunny family – Hopper, Peaches, and Pickles – who will be there to help the little ones find the colored eggs.

In case of rain, the festivities will be moved to the indoor tennis courts at the Wellness Center.

Easter Brunch: The Clubhouse will be offering a special brunch from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 17. These delectable food selections include rosemary and garlic leg of lamb, deviled eggs, citrus chicken with saffron rice, bacon and sausage, Easter egg brownies and more. Registration is available at the link provided here or by visiting the community calendar and selecting the “spring brunch” event at tinyurl.com/33pthkes. Price: $45 – adults; $17 – ages 13-17; $13 – ages 5-12; children 4 and under are complimentary. Prices do not include tax or gratuity. For more info, contact the Clubhouse at 706-268-1253.
