The Racquet Club has a great fall planned for our Big Canoe bocce players and our Bocce Social Group is leading charge. Linda Malgeri, Cathy Wentworth, Bill Rawson, and Diana Spearman have volunteered to keep the excitement going all season. The event line-up for the season includes:
Aug. 1: Fall bocce season registration opens
Sept. 10: Fall season celebration at the Wildcat Pavilion from 2-6 p.m.
Sept. 12: Regular season matches begin
Nov. 5: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Fall playoffs and finals.
There will be catered food and beverages for the season kickoff party, playoffs, and finals. Champion and finalist awards will be presented following play on Nov. 5.
For those who would prefer to play in a more casual setting than in a league, Monday Night Bocce will be available weekly from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. through the season. If you’d like to sharpen your game or learn the basics, there will also be bocce camps on Aug. 4 at 9 a.m., Aug. 11 at 6:30 p.m., and Aug. 13 at 9 a.m.
