It’s almost time to load up bags and trunks with wonderful treasures from the Chapel Women’s Guild Books and More sale. Proceeds from the sale benefit charities in Dawson and Pickens counties.
Books and More will take over the Chapel Broyles Center April 8-10 from 9 am until 3 pm.
Don’t worry about raindrops falling on your head. There will be a load of umbrellas to keep you covered. After shopping, volunteers will walk you to your car under bumbershoots. They might even carry a package or two to lighten your load.
The sale is so big it boasts three days of buying excitement. Prices are exceptional and tables, chairs and racks are loaded with great buys. There are even pieces of fine furniture for sale!
With the ambiance of a cozy bookstore coffee shop, Books and More is a fun place to relax and chat with friends and neighbors, many of whom you might not have enjoyed for awhile.
The aroma of Jax Coffee will entice you to savor a cuppa brew and a sweet treat as its partner. Speaking of sweet treats, the Guild Bake Sale is back! Yes, you can carry home a delicious array of goodies Big Canoe’s best bakers are taking out of the oven.
