Once known as the “Volunteer of the Year” award, the name of the recognition has changed, but the honor remains the same. The award is now known as the President’s Award and is given to an individual volunteer who has made a significant impact or contribution to Big Canoe.
The success of Big Canoe depends on the contributions of Property Owners serving on POA committees and working with community groups and organizations. Each year the POA honors one outstanding individual for recognition. Property Owners are invited to submit the names of nominees along with an overview of their nominee’s accomplishments here.
The President’s Award will be presented at the July 17 Town Hall meeting. While many volunteer much time to our community, the POA is pleased to honor one special volunteer this year.
