iDiots get ready to take a bite of their Apple®

By Gary Cherry

For the Big Canoe iDiots, the iPhone users group in our community, this past year has been unique, to say the least. Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, as well as various personal issues, Devon Collins and Gary Cherry, head Apple® crunchers, haven’t been able to meet with faithful iPhone users for about a year.

We’d like to get back to semi-normal and are planning to hold a meeting November 6. We anticipate presenting our usual two sessions, one for the New Users at 10:00 a.m. and one for the Seasoned Users at 1:00 p.m. Meetings will be in McCormick Hall on the lower level of the Big Canoe Chapel Broyles Center.

In addition to sharing useful information, we will review the latest iPhone operating system, iOS 14. This is a major change, so be sure to update your phones before the meeting.

We will have to limit the number that can be accommodated in McCormick Hall, so if you’re planning to attend, email gwcherry@windstream.net to let him know which session you are attending. Of course, you’re welcome to attend both.

We will practice social distancing so don’t forget to wear your mask.
