The Big Canoe Travel Club meeting originally scheduled for May 25 will instead be held on June 1, beginning at 6 p.m. in the Sconti Clubhouse Mountains View Room. Rob Huffman, Southeast Sales Manager will review AMA’s riverboat excursions through several continents during 2022-24. With the welcome reduction of life-threatening Covid cases, the pent-up demand for travel has increased exponentially, and the industry has shifted into high gear with popular destinations being fully booked a year in advance.
That demand has made it more difficult for travel clubs like ours to find companies who have the time to do presentations around the country. Therefore, the normal meeting scheduling has been affected, and dates have been moved around to accommodate available vendors.
