Terraces Summer Lineup Kicks Off on Saturday

The Terraces Committee is pleased to announce the lineup for spring and summer.

Save these dates for the 2023 season concerts:

May 27 – Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend with a return of GlowBand, which will reprise their tribute to the Eagles. The band is made up of seven musicians and vocalists, who perform Eagles hits from the ’70s to the ’90s. With the help of their crystal-clear sound system, every note and guitar lick are faithfully captured. If you’ve not seen them before, you’ll want to experience them.
June 10 – The Whiskey Rose Band, North Georgia’s premier country rock band, hailing from Jasper, Georgia and nearby towns. Comprised of six members, three guitarists, two female vocalists and one drummer.
June 24 – Trouble in Shangri-La: A Stevie Nicks tribute band, led by Kristin Tinsley. Be prepared to rock ’n’ roll, and dance the night away.
July 1 – Get your July 4 celebrations going with the help of Skin Folks, a Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute Band. Southern music at its best. If you’ve not started recognizing our nation’s birthday, this certainly will.
July 15 – Clapton Comes Alive, another fantastic tribute band, are our featured performers. For the price of one ticket, you’ll get exposure to Clapton’s musical journey from The Yardbirds, John Mayall, Cream, Blind Faith, Bonnie and Delaney, Derek and the Dominos and his solo career.
Aug. 5 — Singer-songwriter Steve Baskin and Band will perform songs from their four albums. Think Americana, roots and classic R&B, mixed in with some Johnny Cash, Glenn Campbell and Charlie Pride. Come dance the night away to their amazing talents.
Sept. 2 – ‘70s rock revival: The Troubadour Project, will most likely close out the season. They bring all the sounds, vibe, essence of iconic rock bands from the ’70s; remember Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Eagles, Wings, Heart, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Peter Frampton and ELO? And don’t forget your dancing shoes!

As always, we will have food trucks at the venue. We are hard at work nailing those down. We are also working on sponsors to help bring you these great bands. If you or your business are interested in becoming one of our concert series sponsors, please contact Howard Valentine at 770-845-0119 to discuss sponsorship opportunities. We are also looking at charities that help make our community better. Tickets will be available shortly.

Fellowship, food and music will soon be back at the Terraces, a Big Canoe Chapel owned and operated venue.

Tickets are available on the Chapel’s website or on the Terraces Facebook page.
