The Clubhouse resumes regular schedule, limits seating on select days

By Scott Auer, POA General Manager

UPDATED Tuesday, Aug. 31 — While regular hours have been restored, the Clubhouse will have limited seating this week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The staffing shortage is due to the turnaround time required to secure COVID-19 test results. The full seating is available for dining on Wednesday and Friday of this week.

Regular hours are 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., with last reservations at 6 p.m., Tuesdays; 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., with last reservations at 8 p.m., Wednesdays-Saturdays.

As always, reservations are recommended and can be secured via the Open Table app that appears on the Dining page of the POA website after login; or by calling (706) 268-1253. The Clubhouse staff as always will do its best to accommodate walk-ins.

The Clubhouse is scheduled to resume brunch 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., with the restaurant closing at 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 5.

And on the Veranda on Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 6, the Clubhouse will offer its version of a backyard cookout with a special menu that includes grilled sausage, chicken and burgers along with baked beans, potato salad and coleslaw. Price: $15 per person. Open seating, no reservations.
