Gretchen Hudock, Big Canoe’s resident recycling expert and so-called “Trash Lady,” has compiled a detailed, guide to making the East Side Recycling center at 9720 Cove Road a cinch to use.
Just 600 feet west of the Big Canoe traffic circle, this Pickens County operation accepts materials for recycling from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays through Saturdays. Info: 770-893-2644.
Below are Gretchen’s handy notes on what to bring – and what to leave in the trash – when it comes to dropping off recyclables.
