What do ice coffee, speakers and desserts have in common? You will find them all at the Big Canoe Chapel Women’s Fellowship much anticipated Spring Event: Life in Christ: Good to the Last Drop. Come join us March 31 from 2 to 4 pm at the Chapel. Reconnect with current friends while making some new friends and discover what the Women’s Fellowship has planned for 2022. Come meet the Board and hear all about our exciting schedule.
The event begins in the Chapel sanctuary with some uplifting, foot-tapping music. You will enjoy a warm welcome by President Susan Eanes followed by an inspirational message from our guest speaker, Nancy Lucenay. “Yes, life in Christ is satisfying, good to the last drop, but the concept raises some questions: Who is holding the cup? What is in the cup? Whose satisfaction are we seeking? Our answers reveal our motivations and determine our direction.” Our guest speaker, a pastor’s wife for 52 years, has served churches in the southern U.S. and Hong Kong. Passionate about nurturing women in their faith journeys, she has taught in the U.S., Asia, Africa, and Eastern Europe. She blogs at https://nancylucenay.com and is currently writing her first book.
The adventure continues at the Girlfriend’s Café, located in Cousins Hall. Guests will enjoy coffee, iced coffee and mini desserts, followed by a fun afternoon discovering ways to enrich relationships and grow personally and spiritually.
