After months of planning, the ever-popular Books and More Sale opens its doors April 28 at 9 a.m. at the Chapel. Plan to stop by and see what treasures you can find. Open April 28 and 29 from 9 a.m to 3 p.m., with Saturday, April 30, closing at 2 p.m. This shopping extravaganza has something for everyone:
Ye Old Book Nook – rows upon rows of books, and all at bargain prices. You will find fiction, children’s books, history, biographies, religion, gardening, birds/wildlife, coffee table books and more. There will even be a special section of fabulous puzzles for sale.
Nearly New Boutique – treasures galore of gently used women’s accessories. Think cocktail dresses, shoes, scarves, necklaces, earrings, bracelets and more, all at prices to make you smile.
Rustic Décor and More – items for the home and garden were specially chosen for living in the mountains of Big Canoe. This new addition to Books and More promises to be a huge hit.
The Black Bear Café – no need to go home for lunch, we got you covered. Lunch will be available each day so you can shop, eat and then shop some more.
Heavenly Bakeshop – a favorite stop for those with a sweet tooth, homemade cookies, brownies, dessert bars and more await. There will also be homemade doggie treats for sale, just for your furry four-legged family members.
The best part of the entire adventure is that all proceeds from this special fundraiser go towards supporting local charities for women and children in the North Georgia area. The Women’s Fellowship is proud to offer this fundraising opportunity and is grateful for the continual support of Big Canoe’s residents and guests.
