Get Your Groove on for our 50th Anniversary Golf Tournament!

Think 1972. Bell bottoms, plaids, brightly colored rayon, and tie-dye are golfer style. On Tuesday, May 17, as part of an official event of the Big Canoe 50th Anniversary celebration, you are invited to wear your best era-appropriate golfing attire and come play some Groovy Golf!

The event will be an afternoon nine-hole co-ed scramble tournament on the Creek and Choctaw courses. It is open to all Big Canoe Property Owners.

This is a “fun” tournament format and will include a get together after the round. There will be prizes for lowest team scores, longest drive with a Persimmon wood, best dressed and more! Just know that at some point you will be required to drive the ball with a Persimmon golf club and putt with a ’70s vintage putter.

Your signup fee will include the greens fee, range balls, a tee gift – along with ’70s-themed beer and wine coolers, chips, sodas, and appetizers at the after party. You also will be able to buy ’70s-themed cocktails to add to the groovy vibe.

Get out your best era gear and channel your inner Johnny Miller or Kathy Whitworth and let’s tee it up!

Sign-up begins at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 19. To sign up, click here.
