POA Board of Directors approves Capital Contribution Fee increase to $3,000

The POA Board of Directors approved an increase of the Capital Contribution Fee (CCF) today in a previously announced special board meeting. A recording of the meeting is available to stream on the POA Big Canoe Media YouTube Channel.

The Board of Directors is authorized by Article VI, Section 14 (1)(b) of the Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions to increase the amount of the Capital Contribution Fee annually any time after Dec. 31, 2021, not to exceed $500 in any one fiscal year.

Effective as of today, Jan. 4, 2022, the Board has resolved to increase the fee by $500 to $3,000 for fiscal year 2022.

Funds generated by the CCF are a component of the financial model to maintain and enhance the 50-year-old infrastructure of our community. The CCF is a one-time charge to new Property Owners at the time of purchase of existing homes or when new homes are built on unimproved lots.
